SPMU & Skin Clinic

Dermaplaning is a safe and simple procedure for exfoliating the epidermis to eliminate the skin of the peach fuzz – vellus hair (soft facial hair) and also the removal of dead skin cells. A surgical blade is used to take off the build-up of dead skin, blocked pores and built up oils that can get trapped within the vellus hair.

A dermaplaning treatment results in producing a smooth and glowing appearance with improved ease for makeup application. Additionally, this can also help with reducing fine lines, mild acne scarring and smoothing out uneven skin complexion’s.

This treatment is ideal for those with rough, dry skin, mild acne scarring and oily skin to leave you looking and feeling refreshed not to mention that baby soft skin feel.

A completely invasive, painless and no recovery time needed treatment.

Results are instant and you will not need a course of treatments to see results, however we recommend dermaplaning every 4 weeks but this is a personal preference for your hair growth.

Vellus hair will regrow at the same rate and will not regrow any different.
